How To Be A Confident Woman Devotion

She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. -Proverbs 31:25

Confidence defined is the state of feeling certain about the truth of something. It’s a feeling of self-assurance arising from one's appreciation of one's own abilities or qualities. Confidence, therefore, is one of the most integral and essential variables and elements of power and influence.

One of the most effective ways to boost your confidence is to not compare yourself to others. Comparing yourself to another person can cause envy and even jealousy. God has a specific plan for you and you won't be able to accomplish that plan by looking at others. God says I know the plans I have for you. God uses the pronoun you in this context because He wanted this declaration to be individualized. He wanted to show you that His plan for your life is beautifully distinct and different from everyone else's. One scripture that speaks about the dangers of comparing yourself to others is Galatians 6:4, which states, “Pay careful attention to your own work, for then you will get the satisfaction of a job well done, and you won’t need to compare yourself to anyone else.”

Now this doesn't mean that we cannot look to people who are walking in divine purpose as inspiration; however, being inspired by someone else's life is not the same as being envious or jealous of someone else. So, please be careful not to idolize anyone or anything.

Remember you are being called for a distinct and authentic purpose. God absolutely loves your idiosyncrasies, cute quirks, and talents. He created you to use your unique traits to glorify him. And whatever it is that God is calling you to do in the season you must trust Him that He will give you the power and the tools to get it done. All in all, you must remember that you do not have to be perfect you just have to be you!

SCRIPTURES ON CONFIDENCE:

For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10)

Don’t copy the behavior and customs of this world, but let God transform you into a new person by changing the way you think. Then you will learn to know God’s will for you, which is good and pleasing and perfect. (Romans 12:2)

For where envy and self-seeking exist, confusion and every evil thing are there. (James 3:16)

Do not love the world or the things in the world. If anyone loves the world, the love of the Father is not in him. (1 John 2:15)

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. (Psalm 139:14)

She is clothed with strength and dignity, and she laughs without fear of the future. (Proverbs 31:25)

LET'S PRAY

Dear God, The Great Creator, my Spiritual Maestro, my Friend,

Please give me the confidence to love myself, and an unbreakable confidence to walk in divine purpose. May I be confident, trust, and know that You always will have my back, and that You will never let me down.

I make a proclamation this day, that I am confident in Jesus, therefore, I'm confident in me. I am confident that God will never leave me nor forsake me. And I'm confident that He loves me dearly. For I am no longer a slave to low-self-esteem or fear, for I am a child of God (Galatians 4:7). God has blessed me to possess a great deal of strength and confidence, and with these gifts I exude great confidence and power.

In Jesus name, Amen.
